1.Taikymas (instrumentų kabeliai):
BS 5308 kabeliai yra skirti perduoti ryšio ir valdymo signalus įvairių tipų įrenginiuose, įskaitant tuos, kurie yra naudojami naftos chemijos pramonėje. Signalai gali būti analoginio, duomenų ar balso tipo ir iš įvairių keitiklių, tokių kaip slėgio, artumo ir mikrofono. 1 dalis 3 tipo kabeliai paprastai suprojektuoti ten, kur reikalinga aukštesnė mechaninė ir cheminė apsauga arba tiesioginis įkasimas tinkamame gylyje. Asortimente yra kolektyviai ir individualiai patikrintų porų. Įrenginiams, kuriuose gaisras, dūmai ir toksiški dūmai gali kelti pavojų gyvybei ir įrangai.
